Postumus, Romano-Gallic Emperor, 260-269. Double Sestertius (Orichalcum, 33 mm, 22.58 g, 6 h), Cologne, 261. IMP CASS LAT POSTVMVS P F AVG Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Postumus to right. Rev. FIDES MILITVM Fides standing front, head to left, holding signum in each hand. Bastien 69b (same obverse die). Cohen 76. RIC 123. An attractive example struck on a broad and unusually well produced flan. Minor areas of weakness, otherwise, very fine.

Ex Peus 417, 2 November 2016, 596 and previously from an old German collection formed in the early 20th century (with collectors ticket).
